If you are planning to paint your car’s grill, perhaps with black (to resemble a Black Edition unit) or replace it with another type (one with the bold F-O-R-D letters for example), you will need to know how to remove the grill.

Removing the front grill is relatively easy:

1. Remove the grill’s flexible locks by reaching with your hand,  through the large space right below the grill.
2. Pull the grill starting at the bottom, until it completely detaches.

Just remember to lock it back firmly in place, as you do not want the grill to get blown away when you hit highway speeds!
