Wheelspin with an EcoSport

Wheelspin occurs when the torque (power) delivered to the wheels overcomes the friction between the tires (front tires only in the case of an EcoSport) and the road surface. To perform a wheelspin, step on the accelerator to bring the RPM to at least 4000, and then very quickly, release the clutch (at your own risk!). I am not sure how to do this on an AT variant, but I suppose stepping hard on the accelerator would do it. Wheelspin may also occur when climbing a wet uphill road, as the drive wheels are likely to lose traction.

Through this blog, I intend to share things that I discover with our EcoSport. To donate a liter of gas to EcoSport DIY Series, click here.
