I had fun connecting this retro cassette player to the audio line in of our EcoSport, using standard audio cables (3.5 mm jack on both ends). I’ve found this 1979 player in a surplus audio shop (for 1 USD, labeled as defective) and restored it by replacing the belts. The Sony TPS-L2 is the very first model of Walkman released by Sony, and was featured recently in an awesome movie. I guess the seller does not really know that this particular Walkman model is a collector’s item among audio enthusiasts.
This is a just a test, and no, I won’t be keeping this on my dashboard.
