Icheck nyo po muna kung an problema ay rubber seals. Pinakamaganda madala nyo sa shop. Di po natin maidentify ang source without inspection.

Sobrang malaking tulong sa car community ng mga gawa nyo hindi lang po sa Ecosport. Pwede ba ako mag request ng DIY about Horn installation like Bosch Europa, balak ko kasi iDIY nalang pagkabit ng nabili ko na busina. Salamat po and more power!

About 15 km per liter po ang pinakamatipid na consumption ko sa 2017 Trend MT. Di ko po masasagot ang tanong nyo dahil iba po ang unit ko. Good luck!

A blessed day Sir Anthony , baka po matulungan nyo ako or any idea or suggestion sa aking na encounter sa ecosport Trend 2015 ko , a week ago , sabay sabay umilaw ang : “ABS Malfunction Service now” , “Brake System Malfunction” , “Hill start assist not available” , “Traction Control Offf” at “Hand Brake” naka ilaw…. all about brakes po ito ,. May naka pag advise na check battery , napalitan ko na pong brand new , pati mga brake pads na pa check ko na rin at cleaning na rin , pati mga fuse check na rin ,,,, normal naman po ang takbo at walang nag iba or unusiual sa makina…. balak ko na pong ipa reset (via scanner) ., kung casa naman baka sabihin nila na maraming dapat palitan … medyo nag aalanganin ako kung casa agad… ano po ang advise ninyo or paano ba ito ma re-set ?

Based po sa info na binanggit nyo na sabay-sabay po nag show up ang mga error, malaki ang chance na battery-related ang paglabas ng mga error. Kapag nakukulangan po kasi sa voltage ang mga sensors, nagrereturn po ito ng error or nagnonotify po ang mga ito. Yung mga error po ay hindi lahat narereset mag-isa (may mga ibang errors na narereset mag isa pag nacorrect na ang problem). Malamang ay need po ireset or i-clear ang error gamit ang OBD2 diagnostic tool. Try nyo po ipa-clear sa mga local shops, not necessarily sa casa. May ikakabit po sila sa OBD2 port na nasa left ng steering wheel. Mura lang po ang charge doon. Kung may error naman na hindi pa nacocorrect, magshoshow up lang po uli ang error. Good luck po at sana mapabura nyo na po ang mga nacorrect na na error (malalaman rin natin kung nakatulong ba ang pagpapalit ng battery).

A Blessed day sir , maraming salamat po sa reply ninyo. Actually galing po ako sa isang local shop at ginamitan ito ng Scanner ( di ko po sure kung ito yung na mention nyo a OBD2) , pinaliwanag naman nya result, unfortunately di po na reset o na clear yung mga issue , naka ilaw pa rin sila pag nag start at tumakbo engine., may sinasabi na “Fault l 1” sa ABS (AntiLock Breaking System)., ang analysis ay sira daw ang ABS module … pero sa ngayon naman po ay normal ang kanyang makina at performance (walang unusual)…. ang estimate daw po sa ABS module ay around 60k..(sobrang mahal pala nito) ; nais ko po sana makakuha ng 2nd opinion pa regarding this , may ma i refer o suggestion po pa kayo sir?,. sa ngayon nagagamit ko naman po si ecosport at normal naman takb nya maliban sa naka ilaw yung mga na mention ko . Maraming salamat po sa reply nyon ito ,. at sana po maka kuha pa ako ng second opinion nyo. Thank You & Gd Bless.

Ang unang step na dapat gawin ay i-clear lahat ng error. Kung may babalik, it means di pa nacorrect (naayos) ang error na yun. Dahil hindi nyo pa na-clear ang errors, hindi natin alam kung error ba yan dahil sa battery problem or error talaga dahil may problema ang ABS. Also, ang ABS feature ay gagana lang kapag bigla mo tinapakan ang preno to the point na mag-sslide na ang mga gulong. Ang ginagawa kasi ng ABS ay ipeprevent nito na mag lock ang gulong mo dahil delikado yun (you lose control with locked wheels). So assuming may safe private place ka to perform a sudden hard braking, once active na ang ABS, with precision, irerelease nya ang brakes para umikot ang gulong, at mararamdaman mo ang intervention nito sa pedals as pulses. Kung totoong sira ang ABS, walang mararamdaman na pulses, wala ability mag correct (anti-lock ng wheels) ang sasakyan. Need nyo magconsult sa FORD mechanic to test this out.

Happy New Year po.. Ask lang po namin if san po ang recommended shop to buy parts for Ecosport? We have a problem po sa Clutch and if ever po papalitan medyo mahal ung Clutch disc, pressure plate at bearings – some store charge around 15-16k parts pa lang..

Sir hanap kayo ng mga insurance yard, baka may naligaw na EcoSport at makakuha kayo ng replacement. Usually makahanap kayo ng contact sa mga EcoSport group sa FB. Good luck!

Hi Eteny from Thailand, your reports on the EcoSport are very good. We have had a lot of problems with the wheel nuts here, firstly the jack kit does have the correct size wrench for removing the spare tyre and once the wheel nuts are slightly damaged (generally by service rotation) on the normal road wheels they cannot be removed at all. Any thoughts on better quality wheel nuts? Thanks

I just use genetic wheel nuts, those I could purchase at a nearby shop. I intend to replace them regularly, as it is very difficult to find good quality locally.

Hindi pa po, pero madali lang po baklasin yan. Hanapin nyo po yung video about rear door actuator, pinakita ko po doon paano baklasin. Also sa video about tail light pinakita ko po paano baklasin yung tail lights.
